#1 A Stationary Set

A charming homekeeper will need a complete monogram stationary set in white or ivory so it can be used for both formal and informal writing.  It should include:

1. ​Monogram Letter Sheets (with Envelopes)
2. Monogram Folded Notes (with Envelopes)
3. Monogram Gift Enclosures (to double as Visiting Cards)

These are the essentials for your letter writing along with a good pen.

#2 A Correspondance Plan

Next, you will need a correspondance plan.  This is easy!  A greeting card organizer box or book will do the trick.  Each divider represents a month.  On the monthly dividers, write down important:

• birthdays - family and close friends
• anniversaries - family and close friends

Then, place your monogram stationary set in your your desk drawer or organizer.  At the beginning of each month, simply sit down at your desk and write out invitations, thank you notes, birthdays, and anniversaries that pertain.

#3 A Letter Writing Guide

You are now ready to write your letters and correspondance like a charming homekeeper! Use pen and write in your neatest handwriting or a typed letter is acceptable  with  your signature at the bottom.  For general letter writing see:

A Letter Writing Guide:

• Gifts - No matter how informal the relationship or how small the gift or favor, a thank-you note is sent with your handwritten gratitude.  Use your Monogram Folded Notecard.
• Overnight or Longer Stay - Write a short "bread and butter" letter of gratitude and tell how much you enjoyed your time.  Use your Monogram Stationary.
• Letter of Introduction or Other Courtesy - Has someone gone out of their way to help you in the social or business world?  Use your Monogram Folded Notecard to say thank-you.
• Invitation Received - All written and engraved invitations should be acknowledged with an acceptance or a regret in writing.  Use your Monogram Stationary, unless a Response Card is included such as with Weddings.
• Friendly Letters - Send greetings and good wishes to friends and family at anytime, and be sure to reply to all letters sent.  Use your Monogram Stationary or any informal stationary or folded notecard.
• Good Wishes - Send congratulations and best wishes -for a new baby, a new business, a graduation, or a wedding anniversary.  It's more personal with  a graciously expressed letter.
• Get Well & Bereavement - A hand-written letter is most appreciated in these cases and can be sent alone in inside a greeting card.
